leanne- dragcave.net makes random eggs every hour on the hour. And I think 5 and ten minutes past the hour. Plus, you can randomly find abandoned eggs. Just as long as other people don't get them before you do.

They didn't die. They hatched.
When mine hatched (so very long ago) there wasn't a giant gaping hole.
